Dr. Terence McCormick, BS, MAcOM, DAOM, LAc, CMT, CLT specializes in the treatment of various pains and injuries, hormone regulation issues, infertility, women's health concerns, headaches, allergies, quit smoking, metabolic regulation, digestive concerns, sleep problems and more using a variety of non-invasive, drug-free approaches. He provides holistic complementary naturopathic healing therapies for a wide variety of health conditions.
Dr. McCormick follows a long family tradition of being a pioneer in Wyoming and South Dakota. He is South Dakota and Wyoming's first Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM). His family consisted of ranchers, farmers, educators and inventors that contributed to the development of the Wyoming Territory and Black Hills region throughout generations. He is dedicated to serving the people of the region with the highest quality and effective acupuncture and natural medicine care available while making it both convenient and affordable for everyone.
Dr. McCormick is university trained in the U.S and China. He has been providing acupuncture-natural healthcare, pain management-injury care to people of all ages since 1989. He is currently the only practitioner in Wyoming and Northern Colorado with both a master's and doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, trained in the US, China and Europe. He is a nationally certified massage therapist with over 1500 hours of advanced bodywork training in sports and medical massage techniques for pain-injury care. In addition to acupuncture and laser-acupuncture, Dr. McCormick provides sessions in hand-on therapies including tui na, shiatsu, acupressure and related bodywork styles. He was an instructor at seven different schools in the US and Europe over the past 25 years.
