History

Established in 2013

Wynette L. Y. Johnson RN discovered the power of craniosacral therapy after an Upledger sponsored training in 2010 in Colorado. Amazed and overjoyed she discovered that the Adie's pupil which she had suffered with for over 25 years was dramatically improved. This improvement occurred as a result of students practicing craniosacral therapy on each other. Wynette has spent the last 7 years improving her skills and receiving advanced training through the Upledger Institute International. The name Artesian Wellness was her partner Nicholas Johnson's idea. He has a masters in science from Western Michigan University. He supported the idea of changing direction from hospital based nursing to a more client directed outpatient treatment.

Meet the Business Owner: Wynette L. Y. Johnson RN

Wynette has been a Registered Nurse since 1983. She has experience in many areas of nursing. Most recently as a primary care nurse in a cardiac telemetry unit. The desire to provide personal individualized therapy led her to obtain specialized training. She has a Bachelors Degree in Science from Eastern Michigan University in Psychology with a minor in Music. Wholistic health care is the focus of her client centered approach to wellness.
